Joint training for Interpreters and Police; Joint training offers a unique opportunity for police officers and interpreters to share experiences and learn from each other.

During the live exercises on topics such as Crisis Intervention, interpreters have a great opportunity to become familiar with some scenarios they might face at work and prepare themselves for such events, for example by compiling a unique glossary or preparing themselves emotionally.

The next training exercises will take place on 19 and 26 March, 11th and 18th June and on 10th and 17th September 2020. Places are available for any languages on 19 March and for Farsi or Arabic languages only on 26 March. As places are limited they will be allocated on first come first served basis so if you are interested please make contact with the coordinators at chairman@ait-professionals.com. It is necessary to have a vetting to attend.

These training exercises are free of charge. A Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the conclusion of the training, which can be added to your CPD portfolio. Packed lunch and snacks will be provided. All languages will be considered for future events.
